The Beaconsfield train station was built in 1905 to replace the first station built in 1898 by the CPR.

Following a fire in 1983, major restorations were done at a cost of $497,000. In 1993, other renovations at a cost of $200 000 had to be done following another fire.

This train station is being used by commuter train passengers.
